What you should know before entering the profile magistracy?

• Period of education: 1,5 years
• Education: state budget and paid
• Magistracy admits citizens having mastered vocational academic program of higher education in relevant specialties. In case of disagreement between the basic education (baccalaureate) and the major subject of the magistracy training is realized on entirely paid basis. Herewith prerequisites are defined to be additionally included into the individual schedule of the undergraduate. They are to be mastered before the end of the first term in line with the basic program. The duration of study in magistracy in this case is defined by total number of credits assigned for additionally approved disciplines.
• Admission to the magistracy is competitive, by results of the entrance examinations.
• Those entering magistracy are to pass entrance examinations:

1. a foreign language (English, French or German). Foreign citizens will take an exam in Kazakh or Russian (language of training). Examinations are held in compliance with the procedure developed by MES (Ministry of Education and Science) RK.
2. Core specialty exam. Conducted by the board of examiners of the institute. The procedure of the examination is assigned by the admission board. For enrollment on competitive basis are admitted students having gained at entrance exams in sum 8 points in foreign language and specialty (on 4-point scale of knowledge evaluation): excellent – 5 points; good – 4 points; satisfactory – 3 points. For fully paid form of training may be admitted residents having passed with positive marks both entrance exams.

If total number of applicants entering the profile magistracy appears to be less than predetermined by the institute minimum (13 students), there will be no admission for this particular specialty. Applicants will be offered training in a corresponding specialty at scientific and pedagogical magistracy or any other specialty, subject to prerequisites.

Papers for entering magistracy are accepted from 1 to 30, July.
Entrance exams to the magistracy are held from 1 to 20 August.
Enrollment – up to 31 August.

Applicants must submit the following documents to the admission board of the institute:

• Application addressed to the rector;
• Notarized copies of higher education certificates;
• Personnel record sheet and notarized copy of work record card, if available;
• Six photos 3,5 x 4,5;
• Medical certificate by form 086-У;
• A copy of identity card;
• A list of scientific and methodological works (if available);
• A letter of guarantee for concluding the contract and payment of expenses (for those entering on paid ground);
• A list of the documents.
